Editorial independence

A small number of links on this site are affiliate links. When you book through one, Hamptons Verified may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Every affiliate link is labeled with rel="sponsored"per Google's guidelines and tagged in the markup so you can tell them apart from editorial links.

A small number of listings may carry a quiet Featured or Presented by badge. Those are paid placements. They never override editorial decisions: a restaurant we would not recommend on its own merits never appears on the site, paid or not. Featured listings are capped at two per section so the page never turns into an advertorial. Closed or broken venues are never eligible for paid placement.

We do not run display ads. We do not run pop-ups. We do not run user-generated reviews. We do not sell your email. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking pixel — the only analytics we run is a privacy-friendly first-party counter, and only when an environment variable is set.

If you ever spot a listing on this site that feels like it does not belong, tell us. We would rather lose the placement fee than lose your trust.

Corrections: spotted something wrong — an hour, a closure, a price, a date? Send us a correction and we fix it, usually same-day. Every fix updates the entry's verified date.
