Laura Sisco's Montauk studio at 710 Montauk Highway, running four-week sessions of toddler dance, preschool dance and - increasingly - tumbling, with August tumbling intensives. Drop-ins are taken but not guaranteed a spot, and a class needs three registered students to run.

The Sarah and Maurice Iudicone Aquatic Center inside the Montauk Playhouse Community Center: a 25-yard lap pool and a warm-water teaching and leisure pool. Lessons, lap swim, family swim and aqua aerobics, run by Imagine Swimming, with discounted rates for East Hampton Town residents, seniors and students. The Playhouse publishes no pickleball courts.

Body Tech's second gym, inside the Montauk Playhouse — so the weights room and the community pool are in the same building. Passes by the day, week or month.

Aly Berger's athletic reformer studio, in residence for the summer in The Studio on the Montauk Yacht Club property — so a class can turn into a day on the marina. Signature classes cap at six ($75); privates are $250 and duos start at $350, both arranged by text rather than online. Reformers, towers, chairs, weights and props, modifiable for injuries and pregnancy. Ask at the front for a golf cart, or put 58 Star Island into maps to drive straight to the studio. Seasonal: a summer residency, not a year-round address.

Ground-floor reformer studio, one of five New York Pilates runs on the East End (Montauk, East Hampton, Bridgehampton, Southampton, Sag Harbor). This is the one on Montauk Highway as you come into town. A single class is $55 and there is an intro offer for first-timers.
