    Captain Matt Ketcham's ten-acre plot on a shallow bank in the Great Peconic, where iron off the Peconic River is what the family credits for the gold cast on the shells. The farmstand is a self-serve roadside box on the north side of Route 48 between Depot and Cox Lanes: $35 for a bag of 24, $10 for a shucking knife, cash or Venmo.
