Orient Beach State Park
A rare maritime forest of red cedar, black-jack oak and prickly-pear cactus on Gardiners Bay, a National Natural Landmark and an Audubon Important Bird Area. Picnic areas, grills, seasonal restrooms and showers, a playground, and a pavilion for 120 people at $200 to $250. $8 per car, $10 in peak season; swimming season 6/27 to 9/7.
