Pindar Vineyards
The oldest same-family-owned winery on Long Island, at 37645 Main Road in Peconic, open daily 11am to 6pm with the tasting bar closing at 5:30pm. Pindar is the one winery here that says so plainly: guests may bring their own picnic lunches to enjoy with a wine purchase. No outside alcohol, no thermoses or insulated cups, no pop-up tents or tailgating, and coolers are subject to inspection. Indoor and outdoor tables are first come, first served, and you may bring a blanket and beach chairs. Children welcome; dogs must be leashed and supervised.
