    Shinnecock East County Park

A rugged, undeveloped barrier beach flanking the east side of Shinnecock Inlet, with ocean and bay beach recreation and striped-bass fishing. Access is permit-gated: 100 outer-beach campsites are open only to self-contained campers holding a Suffolk County Parks Green Key Card, no tent camping is permitted, and the small parking lot serves Green Key holders without an Outer Beach Recreational Vehicle Permit. The county does not list picnicking among this park's amenities.
