Only if you intend to enter sanctioned tournaments — $200 a year is cheap, but the club dues and the horses behind it are not, and nobody publishes those numbers.
Required to enter USPA-sanctioned tournament play. The East End's only USPA member club is The Hamptons Polo Club in Water Mill — an Active Club in the Northeastern circuit since February 15, 2023, rated 0-to-4 goal, with its own polo school. New players start with USPA's Learn to Play program.

Membership year runs January 1 to December 31 and is not pro-rated
Cost
USPA dues: Registered Player $200/yr ($100 if under 18 or on an I/I team, $0 for active-duty military), Non-Competing $50, Lifetime $2,500. Club dues are set by each club and are not published.
