🟢 Only 1 of 49 needs no parking permit at all — but that is a parking rule, not a door policy. The permit gates the car park, never the sand, so any of these is yours on foot or by bike.
Accessibility note: several beaches deploy a Mobi-Mat in season so wheelchairs and strollers can reach the foreshore. Watch for Trustees postings about the Mecox cut, and check rip current and nor'easter advisories before heading out.

Beach parking
Parking here is confusing because villages inside towns issue their own stickers. Enter any East End street address and we tell you which permit you qualify for, which beaches it actually opens, and the documents to bring.
No car? Skip the permit. Most village beaches don’t gate the sand — they only gate the parking lot. If you arrive by Jitney, LIRR, bike, or on foot, you can walk straight onto the beach.
