The walk
East Hampton town park on Gardiners Bay. Loop through pitch pine woods to a narrow beach on Three Mile Harbor. Kids, dogs, and a picnic at the end is the classic Sunday.
Access & parking
Three Mile Harbor Road north from East Hampton, right on Flaggy Hole Road to the park.
Parking: Maidstone Park lot off Flaggy Hole Road, free for residents, nonresident fee in season.
