Briar Patch

The Georgica Pond estate Christopher Whittle assembled across 90 and 100 South Briar Patch Road, listed in 2014 for $140 million — still one of the most ambitious asks the Hamptons has seen. The larger 7.5-acre lot holds the Shepard Krech House, a circa-1931 Colonial Revival by Arthur C. Jackson renovated in 1990 by Peter Marino. After foreclosure and two cancelled auctions, 90 South Briar Patch Road transferred for $64.7 million in 2024.
