Indian Island County Park — Peconic River Trails

The walk

A Peconic River estuary park where the river meets Flanders Bay. Flat loop with a view of the narrows, a campground, and a shoreline of reeds and osprey platforms.

Access & parking

NY-105 (Cross River Drive) south from downtown Riverhead.

Parking: Suffolk County Parks lot; $10 nonresident day-use.
